KBS Interviews Ed Bennett

kpop.png

In 2011, major South Korean television network, KBS, aired in Korea a one-hour documentary special on K-Pop (Korean pop music). KBS interviewed Bennett Media Studio founder Ed Bennett in his home, asking him about his thoughts on the rising genre and its potential here in the United States. His comments can be found near the end of the documentary around the 51:56 mark.

This 1 Hour Documentary explores the emerging popularity of K-Pop Music around the world, from Korea, to Brazil, to France and Asia. It has become a $4 Billion Export business for Korea and growing rapidly. There is one catch: It spectacular growth has been achieved without the United States market, where K-Pop is virtually unknown. If the largest music market in the world has not been a part of this success, how can they make it happen. I and my company was in the last segment.
